Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This policy describes how Gradien Inc. ("Gradien," "we," "us") handles information collected through the public gradien.ai website. It covers the FinCore marketing site only, not the authenticated FinCore application, which maintains its own in-product data handling documentation. Portions are marked for final legal review before this policy is treated as a finished legal document.
What this policy covers
This policy covers gradien.ai (the public marketing page and the demo-request form) and references how the FinCore application handles authenticated fund data at a summary level. The FinCore application maintains its own privacy and data-handling documentation for customer fund data, which controls for anything not addressed here.
Website analytics (PostHog)
Gradien uses PostHog Web Analytics, the same analytics system used across gradien.ai, to understand which sections of the FinCore page are useful to visitors. Events from this page are tagged with a distinct site_surface value ("fincore_marketing") so FinCore traffic can be measured separately from Core and the Gradien company page, but the underlying consent system, project, and privacy controls are shared, not duplicated.
Website analytics is not yet active on gradien.ai. Once it is enabled, the consent banner will present visitors with two equally weighted choices ("Allow analytics" and "Continue without analytics"), and this section will be updated with the choice actually presented.
What Gradien does not send to PostHog
Demo-request form field values (name, work email, firm, role, team size, and the free-text context you share) are never sent to PostHog. Session replay and broad autocapture are disabled.
Changing your analytics preference
Once analytics is active, you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" control in the footer.
Demo-request data
When you submit the "Book a FinCore demo" form, Gradien collects the fields you provide (name, work email, firm or fund, role, primary workflow interest, the context you share, and optionally team size) to prepare and follow up on your demo request. This data is sent to the Gradien team through Loops transactional email and is not sent to PostHog.
Submitting a demo request is not marketing consent. Gradien does not add demo-request contacts to a newsletter or marketing mailing list.
Loops transactional email
Gradien uses Loops to deliver two transactional messages tied to a demo request: an internal notification to the Gradien team, and an acknowledgment sent to the email address you provided. Both are sent with marketing-list attachment disabled at the API level, so a demo request cannot silently become a subscription.
Scheduling
No third-party scheduling provider is connected to this form today. If Gradien connects one in the future, this section will name the provider and describe what it can see before any scheduling link is shown to a visitor.
Service providers
- PostHog, for website analytics.
- Loops, for transactional demo-request email.
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider (Cloudflare), for serving the website and processing form submissions.
[Legal review: confirm final list of sub-processors and any required data-processing agreements before publication.]
Retention
Demo-request submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to the request and for a limited operational period afterward. Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's project-level retention settings.
[Legal review: confirm exact retention periods before publication.]
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information Gradien holds about you. Submit a demo request or use the contact method below to make a request.
Security
Gradien uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information in transit and at rest, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
International transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than your own by Gradien's service providers. [Legal review: confirm transfer mechanisms before publication.]
Changes to this policy
Gradien may update this policy as the FinCore website changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent by submitting a FinCore demo request with your question in the context field, or through gradien.ai.
